Unread piles and midnight ICT windows
2 April 2026
A Marvel NFT comics drop that lands at midnight in Thailand collides with unfinished print issues on the same desk. Collectors then mint, or consider minting, a story they have not read, and the next morning the journal has a title with no opinion attached.
Set a two-night rule: if the issue is unread 48 hours before the window, the drop-week briefing treats it as a read-first item. You can still skip the listing. You should not skip the reading if the reason you wanted the drop was the plot.
Shift workers on late BTS hours can move the reading to a lunch break rather than a 11 p.m. panic. The listing will still be there at 00:01; your attention may not be.
If you only want the cover as an object, say so in the journal. That honesty keeps the unread pile from pretending it is research.
